Ever since that fateful day when the bombs dropped, and the world turned to hell, there was something missing from Joseph's life, something important. He did not know how he survived without it for so long, but without it he felt empty and incomplete. This 'thing' was not as important as his long lost friend but it held significance to the man. The reason for his journey on the outskirts of the Aimon settlement all dates back a few hours ago when he heard the announcement.*A Few Hours Ago In The Desolate Morning* Within the out of place golden trailer was a groggy Joseph preparing him a five-star meal. At least it was considered five-stars in the 'New World' as Joseph loved to phrase it. His meal comprised tasteless army rations and a half-drunk bottle of water. In this New World it was lucky if you found a meal that didn't eat you, let alone have one this filling. Before he could take another bite of his meal, he jumped up in fright as a voice came over the radio. "Good Morning Aimon Settlement. Its your favorite host, Snaptrap." Announced the voice over the old, but untouched radio. Joseph put down his plastic fork and listened to the old radio as information was vital in this desolate, depressing world. "Its a glorious Thursday, and the Weather Predictor Shana is calling for heavy rain Saturday. Bring your umbrellas so no raining mutants will get you. Ha haha" Joseph never liked people who laughed at their own jokes. He found those kinds of people to be shallow and have a horrible sense of humor. At least that's how they all ended up except for himself because his jokes were tasteful and his personality was overflowing richness. "In other news, the merchant Felix is also coming to Aimon Settlement. Go to him for repairs on your wares and tears! The weapon shop Lil Susie's Horrors is having a sale-" Joseph cut off the radio and made a mad dash to the upper part of the trailer. It hadn't been too long since Joseph found his 'house' destroyed and abandoned near the Aimon Settlement. He cleaned the trailer, repaired it, and turned it into gold. Inside the trailer he found a peculiar item, one he had no hopes of repairing until now. *A Horrible Meal And A Few Hours Later* Joseph now stood in front of a trailer home of Felix. For his trip across Aimon grounds he wore a black foreign band t-shirt with blue jeans. On his gold belt he had a simple glock and a knife although he lacked training in both weapon fields. He wore multiple gold accessories, such as hollowed out square golden earrings and a golden necklace. He carried a leather backpack filled with other golden goods and necessities like food and water. He was determined to get this item working, even if he had to trade away most of his valuable golden items. "Mr. Felix, please repair this Wii U!" Joseph shouted as he cradled the precious console underneath his arm. He held it as if it was the most scared thing on earth. |
