MO NIKKI KENNEDY
FEMALE | BISEXUAL |
EIGHTEEN | REGULAR |
appearance
Long-legged and thin, Mo doesn't gain weight nor lose it easily. Her metabolism is rather swift, and as thus, she eats like a horse. Her short inky black hair is both choppy and spiky, which is often cut by her mother. The knife used isn't the best, so her hair usually looks like she stuck her finger in a light socket. It's a nightmare to brush, but once it's tamed it looks alright.
Mo is kind of spindly, though with knobbly legs instead of looking slender. Perhaps in time, if she ate enough, she would gain the figure she wishes she has. She's pretty much a copy of her beautiful mother, but she knows she will never gain the figure of the woman. While Catherine Kennedy has raven black hair, the bluest eyes, freckles, and a curvy body, Mo Kennedy doesn't.
Mo's own hair is short compared to Catherine's waist length curls, and is straight in contrast. Her pale skin is dotted with freckles all across her shoulders and face, arcing around a small nose and up-turned, sharply shaped eyes. The one thing Mo likes about her appearance is her thickly lashed eyes, which one of them is a brighter blue than her mother's. The other eye is a bright reddish amber that she inherited from Lance. Her own body is rather underdeveloped, but she thinks that her waist is slightly bigger than her bust.
Wrapping her chest in thick bindings of is usually her preference, as she isn't all that fond of her chest bouncing in bras. In as much, her chest isn't very large. Most of the time, people can see her ribs because of how thin she is. Mo isn't exactly skeletal, as she still has meat on her tall frame.
Her fingers are long and thin as well. With how skinny she is, it almost looks like a wind could blow her over. Combined with her pale pallor and usually too bright eyes, she looks sickly. Especially since she lives within the forest and is known as a feral human, despite her perpetual enthusiasm. Almost constantly, to hide how pale she is, she rolls in the dirt and climbs in trees to gain scratches, bruises, and large streaks of dirt. Her wild, short black hair is in constant disarray and is full of twigs, dirt, and grass.
personality
Living in an unforgiving world since she was born has taken its toll on Mo. Despite being unerringly cheerful, Mo is generally cautious and slightly paranoid. After her father disappeared about a year ago, Mo has made it a mission to explore all of Nootau. After all, she's trying to model herself after her father in the aspect that he was an explorer. Mo loves to find new things though, and her curiosity stems from the fact that he used to show her the different kind of things he would find.
Mo is also fairly adventurous, with a streak of independence a mile long. She hates that her mother is trying to restrain her to the apartment, and often wonders why Catherine can't show common sense. Won't she ever leave Mo alone? Frequently, the wanderer bickers with her mother and will actually argue in her own defense. There is nothing wrong with being curious, nothing wrong with her innate desire to explore! Mo's ability to get frustrated easily is going to cause her a lot of trouble in the future despite how cautious she is, as she is also impatient.
Complaining is one of the things that Mo genuinely tries not to do, as she likes to work hard. One of the many mottoes she has says, "If you work hard, you rest easy. If you don't, you'll spend too much time worrying about it and thus you have unneeded stress." Mo has taken this to heart and often fights against her mother's orders to stay inside and rest. She doesn't think Catherine knows about the little escape route underneath her bed, so Mo keeps quiet.
Her streak of fierce independence rooted a seed of strong stubbornness in her when she was a small child. If there's something she wants to do, she fights her mother and stays steadfast to her needs and wants. Mo genuinely hates being confined to one space, as she often needs to get rid of a lot of pent up energy. After awhile, she developed a slight phobia of enclosed spaces, and doesn't like to be around large crowds. In desperation to get away from her mother when she gets to be too much, Mo will usually make her way through the city.
Being outside is a treat for Mo, and she usually treats nature with reverence. She's somewhat feral due to the fact that she retreats to the forest more often than not. Recently, she's actually moved inside of her little hangout spot, and only goes back to let her mother know that she's okay. Mo has been by herself so much that she's started to shy away from people and observe them from a distance. That's how she knows how to step quietly.

background
Most of Mo's life was spent harassing her parents to go outside. Where she was pretty much a daddy's girl, being a virtual copy of her bearer sent Catherine into trying to keep her inside. Lance, her father (and the one who named her), often snuck Mo past Catherine and into the forests, where he would teach her how to hunt and track the various species in order to keep their small family from going hungry. Animal pelts would be kept for blankets or would be sold to others, while the currency they received mostly went into caring for them all.
Being terribly skinny and pale stems from a life of not eating a lot. However, her boundless energy has always been enough for her and often surprised people when she first met them. Admittedly, Mo often split her portion of meals and gave them to the smaller, younger animals in the forests. Not that her parents knew about it anyways. When she was younger, she thrived on observing the animals in the woods. She would learn how they acted, how they walked. It didn't help that her father conspired against his wife and went hunting with his daughter.
This wealth of knowledge from simply observing and practicing on her own time became something that she was eager to do. There was a reason why her father only taught her how to trap the smaller and medium-sized animals. Lance attempted to start teaching Mo how to shoot a bow, wield a sword (e.g. roughly carved pieces of wood), and various weapons when she was small. It rapidly became apparent that Mo couldn't wield them with the same efficiency as her father. In fact, she was terrible at them.
Instead, Lance showed her how to trap the creatures and how to identify what plants she could and could not eat. He was wary about how to go along with killing the animals, but he actually ended up creating a knife of bone from the leg of a cat. He debated for awhile to actually give it to her, but instead kept it for himself. Lance allowed his daughter to use the knives for skinning and slitting the throat of smaller Pokemon, but only for those things. Otherwise, she would hurt herself.
About a year ago, Lance went missing. Catherine, in her grief, only increased her harassing of her daughter to stay within the border of the city. Mo, irritated with her mother's attempts, started to argue with the woman and frequently disappeared from the city to go into the wild so she could have time on her own. She often stays within the hang-out that her father built, but it's far enough from the city that she can get there within a good twenty minutes of fast walking. The forest is home to her, despite not exploring a lot of it.
