| A h this familiar place. The camp site from when he was a kid. It was often that Lorenzo and his brother came here during the summer vacation. It made their mother's job a whole lot easier, with the fact that she didn't really have to worry about them constantly. Though Lorenzo was very competitive with his brother when it came to some of the activities they did. There was one place that brought back memories of those times. The obstacle course. A series of logs, monkey bars, a bridge and a few other stuff.
Lorenzo wasn't really one for the outdoors, it was only when he liked it that he wasn't really having to do much. Hiking was one thing that he could handle, all it took was a bit of walking. It just wasn't great in the heat.
While walking over to one of the cabins to see if there was anything of use he could take he noticed just how much this place had changed. And how creepy it is now. The shrubs that grew around the cabins and through the obstacle course made him shiver at the sight. It was the evening too, which made this place a whole lot scarier. Wasn't always in the movies that people got murdered in abandoned places like these? Well, good luck trying to find a place that wasn't abandoned. This site made him forget for a moment that it was the damn apocalypse. Guess there was one thing to be happy about, it was a lot more free now that it was before the bombs.
His thoughts snapped at the sound of something running, something heavy. Turning his head to see what it was, a dark furry figure came running out of the trees and into the opening. A creature that resembled somewhat of a bear, but with a lot more features that were way too unnatural to be your average bear. And you know what could make this anymore worse? Two bears.
"See, this is why I hate the outdoors!" He shouted to himself as he readied his posture. Normally he would have ran by now but he was confident enough to take these two out, with the little electricity he had in him. One bear came charging towards him, teeth bared. Holding his hands out, one hand on the top jaw and one of the bottom. "ARRRRGHH!" Soon electricity charged from his hands. Before the bear could push him over the electricity had already caused it to fall down.
Proud of himself he looked at the pile of fur as he put his hands on his hips and smiled. "Man I am good." Though that wasn't going to last long. A swift swipe to the face of a large paw cause him to go flying into the ground. Lorenzo had managed to sit himself back up as he rubbed his head, he could clearly see that this one was soon to be colliding with him any second. But he was confident enough to take this one, again.

His head cocked to the side, shifting his hair and causing it to fall down to his shoulder. He remained still, golden eyes fixated upon nothing in particular. Other than brief adventures into Nootau, he had managed to do quite well in the Canadian wilderness. It was easy to manage on his own. His hunting ability had increased exponentially, and he had no need for weapons other than his hands and his teeth. He had been taking shelter at the old camp site for a couple of days now, figuring he would just move on the moment he sensed too much danger in the area. Other than the fauna that had been easy to hunt down, the forest was quiet. At least, it had been until he heard the distinct sound of heavy pawsteps. His head cocked to the other side as he strained his hearing, focusing on the steps. Four legs. Eight? No, two creatures. Large. Focus, focus... Grunts, growls-- wait, he knew that sound. Bears. Perhaps it was time to pack up. He stood from the fallen log he had been resting on, patting down his jeans, completely intent on turning tail and leaving. Yet, he paused once more as the steps became hurried. Running? Then came a shout that he did not need to focus on to hear, and his eyes snapped up in the direction of the shout. " Damn it," he growled to himself, quickly pulling his shirt over his head and tearing it in his rush. He ignored it, tossing it onto his bag propped against the log, and the same treatment was given to his pants. He kicked off his shoes before breaking into a sprint, the faint and painful sound of snapping bones disappearing into the night as fur sprouted across his body. He arched over and was running on all fours in the blink of an eye, his entire form changing from human to beast. Able to clear the area more easily, he bounded through the woods, following the sound of the bears and the lone man. As he neared, static filled the air, causing his fur to stand on end. He rounded the last set of trees, not stopping to glance at the fallen electrified bear. A growl ripped at his throat as he bared his teeth, charging forward and leaping into the air. His jaws clamped against the throat of the other bear, snapping closed and ripping into the bear's hide. The creature could not even roar in pain as the wolf used his momentum from his charge to flip the bear over, smashing it into the ground. Successfully pinning the beast, he released his hold on its neck, only to bite down further and harder, collapsing the bear's trachea. The mutated creature thrashed about, trying to knock the wolf off of itself. It was futile, and the bear soon stilled with one final gargled grunt. Releasing his hold, the wolf shook his pelt and stepped back. Glowing, golden eyes focused on the human for only a fleeting moment before he turned his head away. Shaking off his pelt and spitting out some fur he pulled from the bear, he slowly slipped over to the other bear, sniffing around before pausing and tilting his head. His ears perked and strained forward, listening for a heartbeat that was not his own or that of the stranger's. @ashbee
