Though twenty-four in age, Mia possesses the body of an apparent fourteen-year old, a physical alteration that was the result of the maras that had been introduced into her body. What was once soft and curved has regressed to the slim, albeit lean, frame of a teenager, and her once matured stature has shrunk, returning once again to a height of 5'02".
A younger body and a different appearance is the extent of her mutations, leaving her looking like an ordinary human with pale skin, white hair, and green eyes – an appearance vastly different from her original one. Surviving in harsh conditions has left scars on her face, one on her right cheek and one below her left eye.

ENHANCED PHYSICAL ABILITIES
Having a slim, teenage body is a huge physical disadvantage. Fortunately, Mia has enhanced physical abilities to make up for this. Despite her appearance, she's stronger, faster, and more durable than the average human. It's not enough to allow her to accomplish extremely superhuman tasks or to require her to watch her strength, but she's decently stronger than the average adult male.
POCKET DIMENSION CREATION
Perhaps Mia's favorite ability, given how much easier it makes storing things. Each pocket dimension becomes a colored glass marble. When looked through, one can peer into the pocket dimension as if looking through a telescope.
Each dimension can have the size of a cube with the dimensions of 50 yards all around. Within them, she can store items and people, including herself. However, the glass marble representing the dimension must remain intact outside in the physical world, otherwise the pocket dimension will be destroyed, simultaneously ejecting everything within the dimension.
Entering and exiting a dimension without Mia is impossible – Mia must have physical contact with the marble and/or item. In that case, Mia must enter a dimension herself if she wants to retrieve something she stored there. If she loses a marble, then she loses everything stored in that marble too.
TIME MANIPULATION
The ability to stop time for brief periods of time, though this can only be perceived by Mia herself. A very taxing ability, and thus one that needs to be used strategically or in desperate need. Mia can hold time still for a maximum of five minutes each time she uses this ability, during which she can physically manipulate her surroundings as she wishes.
Using this ability strains her body cells, tiring its user. If used more than twice in the span of around a week, this ability causes her body cells to disintegrate, resulting in her becoming younger and younger until eventually, she will cease to exist.

Mia had once been many things: beautiful, dangerous, coveted – a woman of the night and all its vices in the midst of a city many miles away from Nootau. A heart breaker. Beloved, in love, betrayed, broken-hearted.

Now she is none of those things. She is a name and a past locked behind an unfamiliar face and a body too small, secrets upon more secrets, all of them of an identity she had been forced to abandon.
But what does it matter now, why she came to this little Canadian town? As far as she's concerned, she's died once already. Now, she is Mia Valentine, a girl in a world where the biggest thing she has to lose is a life she doesn't quite mind courting Death with.
If she's just a little lonely these days, that's her own problem.

• Regardless of her current appearance, she can and will keep her vices of smoke and drink when she has reason to celebrate.
• She'll play the "sweet lil' girl" card if she has to, and isn't above using it to her advantage.
• She used to look very different from how she does now. There are few who would recognize her now, and she'd prefer to keep it that way.
• Her favored weapon is the crowbar, which she wields rather deftly.
