| T he police station had seen better days. The state of it was barely even recognisable in some parts of it. Lorenzo knew perfectly well that it wasn't safe, at all, but oh well. If this place had one reason to come here it would be for the equipment. Although he'd never been unlucky enough to be arrested and placed here for a night or something, Lorenzo could just about make his way around the place.
Some parts were just a unassailable for him to even attempt to try and move through. The hanging concrete on the ceiling wasn't stable either, and he was tall so he had to watch his head.
His eyes caught sight of a radio in the rubble. It was the type where it needed a battery and had multiple buttons on it to match a frequency. He hoped that it had some sort of power left in it, some to take. Problem was it was not in an easy place to get to. The radio was sat among some bricks which then had an obstacle course of metal wires and concrete between him and the radio. Sitting right in front of it as well was two bits of stone leaning against each other.
He stood for a moment staring at it, contemplating whether he should do it or not. "Fine" He sighed to himself. He was going to do it. "I mean, what could go wrong besides the whole place collapsing on me?"
Stepping ever so lightly from rock to rock he made his way to the radio. Jumping to a point where he could finally reach the radio he turned around to look at what he had just crossed. "Huh, that was easy." She shrugged before getting on he knees to reach his hand out to get the radio.
As he leaned against the rock a little he grabbed the radio. But one of the rocks slid, causing the other one to fall. "Oh, no, no, no, no, wait! -Ahhhhh!" Great. His arm was stuck.

Az wasn't exactly sure what they expected to find in the crumbled remains of the old police station, but exploring it was something to do on a day when they had nothing lined up. Usually they were content to camp out in one spot, but for some reason they felt the need to move about. They were packed lighter than usual, with two polearms strapped to their back and baggy clothing hanging off their frame and nothing else they figured that nobody would feel the need to attack them or anything. At least they hoped.
Az slowly looked around before creeping over to a pile of rubble that looked like it could have once been a desk. Police used to keep guns in their desks right? Az had never been that into law enforcement, or guns, but any guns or ammunition that they could find would probably get them some good rations in trading. Maybe they could even trade the gun for another spear or something. Az slowly began to sift through the wood and concrete and other useless items. They had no clue what else they should be looking for other than guns, but there was probably something else other than junk in this old police station.
When the yelling started Az flinched and whipped their head towards the sound, not sure what to expect. It was coming from a more run down area, hidden from Az's view. They pulled their podao off their back and pointed it forward. They used their extra arms to pull rubble out of their way as they slowly made their way towards where the yelling had been coming from. As they got closer what they found wasn't the murder scene they had been expecting. It was, in fact, just a boy whose arm was trapped by a rock.
Az burst out laughing when they saw him. "Hey buddy need a hand?" They asked jokingly as they waved their two extra hands at him. They lowed their weapon and leaned on it as they watched him from a safe distance. Maybe this dude was some old criminal come to rob the police station that had caught him, or maybe he was just like them and watched to see if he could find anything. Either way Az kind of wanted to know what was good enough to get your arm stuck under a rock over.

| A s he struggled a voice of which caught him off guard. Turning his head to the side to see a person of which was something he hadn't seen before. He'd seen mutants but never really spoke to one and well, this one was a lot different looking from what he was used to. A person with four arms, blue skin and a strange stone on their head. Well, this world was already weird, let's make it weirder.
He couldn't help but notice how this person was just laughing at him along with a joke. Now Lorenzo would have found this funny but not while his arm was clamped between two stones with a person stood near him laughing who he is sure is more than capable of helping him. Moving his face back to his arm he tugged more, hoping he could get his arm free without this person's help. "Yeah- no please go ahead and laugh, I'm fine." he said sarcastically.
It was no use. It felt like if he tried anymore he would end up pulling his arm off. It didn't feel broken, thank god, but it sure would leave some bruises after. He looked at the ground and sighed "Ok, maybe a bit of help would be useful." All he wanted was this damn radio that might have some power left in it, it better do anyway after going through all this trouble.

It seemed that the boy hadn't exactly taken a shine to Az's joke. They shrugged their shoulders and flicked a flaky piece of debris off of their sweater sleeve. "I don't see you screaming in pain." They stated with a grin as they rocked on the balls of their feet. Sure the rock closing his arm into the space didn't look entirely comfortable, but he could deal with it for a few more seconds while they had their fun. Still they figured even if he was some crazy criminal it would be better to help him than leave him there to have to 127 hours his arm off and then enact revenge on them.
Az smiled at him with a sickly sweetness as they made there was over to the place he was trapped, careful not to set off some landslide and kill them both. They finally made it over to the spot and inspected the rock. It was wedged in there pretty good, but they figured with his arm already being under there and their now four arms there to help they could probably get it off his arm pretty easily.
Still they paused as they got to the spot he was in and smiled at him in their a manner that they had been told looked rather condescending. "So there bud, what's in this for me?" They asked, holding their gross smile on their face. Az figured that in the apocalypse they should always look for something that they could gain from every interaction and saving this dude from injuring his arm even more or dying here felt like they should get at least some food for their troubles. Yeah, they were maybe a bit mean.

| I f only he could just reach this damn radio and take some of the power from it and hopefully do something to get him out of this situation without this person's help, but no, luck was never ever on his side. He could already sense that this person was enjoying themselves way too much from just standing there and smiling to themselves while he was here, arm trapped between two rocks.
They were right he had to admit, he wasn't screaming in pain but this was still painfully irritating. Were they really contemplating on helping him? Seriously? Sure they probably had better things to do but it was clearly obvious that they were more than capable of helping him free from this without taking too long.
It made him feel much more assured that they were actually coming over to help, well he'd hope so. If they wanted to kill him they would have done it already. He looked at them as they made their way over, taking the roue he had made, which seemed the most safe.
Just when he was about to actually say thank you for their help they paused. This person just stood there and asked him one question, 'What's in this for me?' Were they really going to do that? He gave them a look of confusion and sighed. "I-I don't know?!" What in the hell could he offer that was worth their time? Lorenzo didn't have anything that he'd think they'd be interested in. He tried his best to not seem too annoyed, otherwise he believed that they may just leave him like this.
"Can't you just lift this rock off of my arm, since you seem perfectly capable of doing so, and then we can decide what I owe you?" He argued with a slightly irritated tone of voice.

Of course Az wasn't going to just leave this guy here. They figured that it was obvious that they were in fact going to help him, but the look on his face kind of said otherwise. He almost seemed angry with them. Az couldn't understand why, since it wasn't like they were the one who had gotten his arm stuck in there. They stopped focusing on him and instead started inspecting the rocks trapping his arm, trying to figure out the best way to get his arm out without causing him too much harm and without expending too much energy.
Irritation and confusion crept into his voice as he responded to their question about compensation. They chuckled a rolled their eyes. "Well then I guess I can't help you." They stated with an innocent smile. "No point in working if I'm not getting paid." They leaned against their weapon as they began to take a distinct interested in the blade. Of course they were going to help this guy, even if he didn't end up giving them anything for it, but as they stated, they were going to have a little fun first.
After a moment of them inspecting the blade of their weapon and letting the dude squirm they yawned and faced the rock. They flipped their podao around so that the blade was facing away from the dude's hand and slowly began to work the handle in beside his hand, trying not to catch his skin or fingers between the wood and the rock. "Alright I'm going to push down on this, which should lift the rock, while I keep any other rocks from falling with my other arms. I figure that has the smallest probability of setting off some great rock slide and burying us both in this police station." They explained as they motioned to the other stones and concrete above them that looked like they might fall any moment.
"And just give me like a can of food or something like that later." They muttered as they pushed down on the pole with two arms and held the rocks above them with the other two. Hopefully this gave him a little bit of leverage to actually get his arm out. If not then they might have to come up with a bit of a more risky plan.
